Residence-Villa Arte Mexico launches here a request for proposals – to artists and cultural promoters for the summer 2020. Villa Corbusier «V-1» 45 meters from the beach has been selected for the Arts & Culture program of Villa Arte Mexico: 4 luxurious bedrooms with 4 private bathrooms which can accommodate 8 to 12 people. We have chosen the period  from  May  the 1st till 30th of June 2020 for those active contributors to  the cultural sector to get them involved  around the thematic Arts & Culture /  Quebec - Europe – Mexico intercultural exchanges. We can certainly change the production & release schedule according to your availability and financial resources for the seasons 2020 - 2021.

The intercultural exchanges program - Residence-Villa Arte Mexico - is designed first to allow participants to collaborate on residence and performance projects and then create a showcase for works of art and cultural events in partnership with some local retailers and broadcasters in Playa del Carmen. And to get an international exposure we will also promote co-production with partners from Quebec and Europe for organized public demonstrations in Playa del Carmen jointly with the concerned communities. These exchanges will be selected partly by a 'special Committee' with a mandate to put forward innovative projects, for the relevance of their content and their ability to raise public awareness  regarding the plurality of new contemporary  South – North artistic practices.  Each project must be funded and directed by the participants and sponsors, and all supervised in Playa del Carmen as well as in Montreal by the Residence-Villa Arte Mexico team.
